Originally designed to provide the bathroom with a more modern appearance, the round shower stalls have been embraced as a means of obtaining more room in an otherwise cramped room. These shower stalls can be placed in the corner of the room and require very little in space. The additional benefits include being able to prevent the steam from the shower engulfing the entire bathroom because the shower is enclosed. This enables the bathroom to be used by more than one person at a time.
For homes with more than one bathroom, the half bath was also been viewed as only minorly useful. With the addition of a round shower stall, the half bath can be converted into a full bath, increasing the effectiveness of the room and the value of the home. This can make it possible for guests to shower in the former half bath, which is typically located on the first floor, rather than invade the family's privacy by venturing into the sleeping areas. Families that have children in sports can benefit from these shower stalls as the child can then shower downstairs rather than tracking mud and dirt through the home. The minor complaint about the round shower stall is the chance of it looking cheap in an eloquent home environment. Most shower stalls are made of a thin, clear glass or plastic with modern bands across the glass. This makes the stall appear potentially cheap rather than sleek, especially if it were to contrast sharply with the original bathroom. However, with the advancements in the technology, it has become possible to install fancy and decorative shower stalls as well, making the shower stalls fit into any décor and bathroom. There is little reason why one should not enjoy the bath shower stalls. |
